 Fuerteventura Airport has a single two-level terminal, which caters to all arrivals and departures. The airport is modern, with up-to-date facilities and amenities.
Airlines servicing the airport include: Aer Lingus, First Choice, Brittannia Airways, British Midland, Excel, Iberia, Monarch, Thomas Cook and Sterling, with regular flights to destinations such as Dublin, London, Manchester, Liverpool, Frankfurt, Berlin, Madrid and Liverpool. There are also convenient links to other islands in the Canaries.
Fuerteventura Airport has some of the best facilities and amenities of any Canary Island airport and through constant improvements, the airport is maintaining its high standards.
Airport information desks are provided in each of the main areas of the terminal; the Check-in and Arrivals areas on the ground level and the boarding area on the upper level. A tourist information booth and tourist operator counters are also located on the ground floor outside Arrivals. A good selection of dining options is available, with self-service cafeterias on the ground level and full-service restaurants and bars on the upper level. The upper level houses most of the airport's extensive range of duty-free and regular shopping outlets, with perfume, alcohol, tobacco and cosmetics all on offer. There is also an ice-cream parlour, newsagents (with media in most European languages) and a pharmacy. Additional facilities include a children's play area, baby-changing room, first-aid centre, lottery outlet and an observation deck.
Each of the airport's three main areas has an ATM machine; one in Arrivals, one in Check-In and on in the boarding area. There are no postal or business facilities at Fuerteventura Airport and passengers requiring these services must travel to nearby hotels in Puerto del Rosario or Caleta de Fuste.
Disabled passengers are well catered for by the modern amenities and facilities at Fuerteventura Airport. The terminal is equipped with modified lifts, telephones and toilets, and there are ramps across the terminal, at entrances and in the parking lots. Passengers requiring wheelchairs should contact their airline in advance, while assistance can be provided by airport staff upon request.
